  • No Mass:will take place this Thursday 13th March at 7.30pm in Keel, but there will be Stations of the Cross and every Thursday in Lent. All welcome.
  • Communion Calls:will take place on Friday 14th March in the Parish. Please contact Fr Danny Broderick on 087 9061255 to be included.
  • New Envelopes: please only use the 2025 Parish Envelopes from now onwards.
  • First Sunday of Lent: This year, Trócaire’s Lenten campaign focuses on Guatemala, a country which is one of the least responsible for causing the climate crisis yet is bearing the brunt of the consequences .  We tell this story through, Lima, Juli and their family.   • Irish Synodal Pathway What are the priorities? The Irish Church will be having a Synodal Assembly in October 2026. Join the discussion through our Spring Gatherings on www.dioceseofkerry.ie
  • Used clothes will be collected in Ballyfinane Hall on Friday morning March 28th. Bags of clothes can be dropped into the hall on Wednesday morning 26th, Thursday morning 27th and Friday morning 28th March. Proceeds will go to Ballyfinane NS, and Ballyfinane Hall. Your support would be appreciated.
  • Castlemaine Events Committee will host our 11th St Patrick’s Day Parade on Monday, March 17th at 11:15am. Assembly point is Flynn’s Yard, Castlemaine for vehicles and Geaney’s Yard for those walking/marching. Registration will be from 10:45am.We would like to extend an open invitation to any individuals, groups, clubs, schools, societies, childcare providers, businesses etc that would be interested in taking part in the Parade to come along. All floats are welcome. We would be delighted if you would consider participating in our 2025 Parade.
  • Pickleball Demonstration: at Keel Community Centre. This hobby is open to both men and women. Please phone Philomena 087 0974181.
